Thanks for posting this Sue. I was expecting tonight to find the new auction had already opened for bidding, but this is interesting reading.

The Curse of Frank Black - one of the most popular episodes and an excellent choice given that's its now October! You have no excuses - beg, borrow, steal or kill to own it.

That was the initial reason for me looking forward to seeing it on Sky, that it was the first Halloween episode to be made on the show. And yes it is rather timely! Won't be with the other Halloween episode from Season 3 because I very much doubt that that will be in the auction this month as there's loads of Season 2 scripts left.

It's funny you saying that it's one of the most popular episodes even though I do agree with that, as with those posts made up in the MM Season 2 DVD thread it's a mixed set of views on S2 (one poster said though that people's opinions on S2 changed in the episodes from TCOFB to Midnight of the Century).

TCOFB and Midnight of The Century - two of the most incredible pieces of televison I've ever seen.

The latter Christmas themed episode was good. There's the interesting bit of trivia about it - the only MM episode to be given a PG certificate (UK only) and that's rare for the show!

I'll have to look for any threads about Midnight of the Century as I don't think I've read any.
