I've seen pictures like that before, and they are awesome. I did wonder what sea fog looks like when they encounter natural things like cliffs, but none of the google images for those look as weird. I wonder if the difference is that the condos are giving out a lot of heat, which would make the fog rise faster and so condense more.

Libby, I'm thinking you are correct about the heat.
