BEER----> I watched this program 'The Strain' from the start and I liked it. I just discovered that Lance is the voice (only) for 'The Master' (very bad guy) on this program. I didn't notice at first. He is not in the credits. I'm going to listen more intently next season.

I didn´t know that- a shame that he has no real role in the series

I thought the same thing about Lance. Maybe he will be brought in later on. Okay series to me, just not super impressed.

To the series i have no opinion there, i´ve seen some outtakes and previews not enough to form an opinion.

I do not know where and whether the series is emitted generally in Germany

I read somewhere that it has been compared to The Walking Dead, but not as good, and obviously there is no way it can compete with The Walking Dead, it's like one of the most popular shows on the air today.

The show that to me is better, and just started its 2nd season, is Helix. I find it more intense. Like I said earlier, The Strain is too much like The Walking Dead, and I have no desire to watch season 2. Also enjoyed season 1 of Extant which also has been picked up for a 2nd season.
