Enjoyed this, thank you.  Also thankful for the show returning, but only 6 episodes?  Yuck.

      Happy Birthday, Mr Chris Carter!
Come on, you knew this right? 1013? Ten Thirteen?
Chris Carter, creator and executive producer of Millennium (and before it, another popular show you may possibly have heard of) was born on 13th October 1956 in Bellflower, California, USA.

I didn't see where anyone has put up this topic, yet.  Is anyone bothering with the X-Files anymore?  I haven't seen tonight's episode (6) yet, but so far, it's been a much better season than last and I'm really enjoying it.  A really nice hybridization of mythology and stand alone stories and much more tightly written.  Car chases and voice overs maybe too long, but I don't want to nitpick.  I should probably sign up at some X-Files site somewhere to discuss it, but by the time I get to it, the show will be over!  So sad:(

      From a Metro news article:-

Were not suggesting you might get a little excited by this or anything but the first actual trailer for the X-Files reboot has been released.

Yes, after months of teasing us with pictures, plot hints etc, makers Fox have finally given fans the chance to see Mulder and Scully in action once again after this teaser found its way online.

Admittedly, you dont get to see a whole lot of them in action since the clip is a mere 16 seconds long offering just the briefest glimpse of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny.

But it whips up a creepy atmosphere nonetheless thanks to the presence of the military, some kind of bizarre injection procedure and Mulders I Want To Believe poster being cast to the ground in that time.
No, we have no idea what it all means either. But its enough to whet our appetites.

Entertainment Weekly recently revealed the first episode of the new mini-series would be entitled Mr Struggle, and would be directed by series creator Chris Carter.

Meanwhile cast newcomers will include Joel McHale of Community fame who will be playing Tad OMalley described as the anchor of a popular conservative Internet news network who becomes an unlikely ally for Mulder.

According to the trailer the series will premiere in the US in January 2016 although theres no word yet on when well get it here.

Hopefully this isn't deemed entirely inappropriate--the tangential relationship here obviously being Chris Carter.  I didn't see the actual screening of the upcoming X-Files miniseries, but this trailer has my interest piqued.  I worry a bit about the "loosely based" on Alex Jones and Glenn Beck, but I like political intrigue and conspiracy theory in story.  That show, along with Millennium, could be even better today than they were back then, I think.  Looking forward to it.
