Very glad you all liked them! I really like watching photos of the sets. In the dvd (the extras dvd) of The Big Lebowski (love that movie) Jeff Bridges shows his own photos. He always takes photos from the movie sets that he works. Jeff has a camera name Widelux that takes panoramic photos that is great. Here is a few of them. I think he is really good!

I hope you don't have any more scares  like that Earthnut!  Gosh!   The only thing that got into my house without my permission lately was a 4 ft black racer snake.    I thought i heard a knock at the door, ignored it.  Got up later to go pee and startled the snake, who slid under the safety barrier into the livingroom where my birds were out and about. Then I lost sight of him.  So  I spent the night turning that room and the bird room inside out looking for the snake.  The next afternoon, he peeked his head out from inbetween the fridge and the wall in the livingroom.

I moved the fridge slowly, took a broom stick and prodded him and he ambled toward the back door which I'd opened.  He made his way back out! WHEW  Yeah I slept in that room with the snake in there.  I had to be close to the bird room in case he got in there.  If they made a peep I was checking on them!

I'd rather that snake get in than some human one with a key!  I hope you never have that problem again!

Oh, I was a bit confused and alarmed, until I remembered that Earthnut had posted about the scary episode of someone coming into her apartment. It doesn't matter that it was about maintenance - everyone should be able to feel safe in their home.

Your experience, seesthru, sent shivers down my spine, but not in a good way. I think we are pre-programmed to be on the alert for the silent killers. I really, really don't know how I'd cope if I saw a snake in my house. Sure, we don't get snakes around these parts, but from what I gather from watching Animal Planet, snakes are very sneaky creatures, and house-birds would be a prime target for them if the birds weren't defended.

Well done for protecting your birds. They are smart creatures, so they'll have detected if they were at risk, and know who kept them safe.
