Morgan & Wong’s Path Out of Season 2
@Gotham Gal I think you're probably right, though a 15-minute conversation wouldn't hurt, but let's let the past remain where it should. Ted Mann said in the Millennium After the Millennium documentary that everything was TBD and Carter never laid out a vision for the show and that it was intentional. What bothers me is that "98% less serial killers" in Season Two equaled 100% less Ted Mann. Also, no inside info, it could have been his decision, just a correlation. -

Writing a book on Season One
@Gotham Gal I have. Bought a hard copy when it came out a decade ago. I still read it to this day. Every essay is excellent, and I've referenced it a few times and will continue to I'm sure. My book aims to focus on the dark and light in the episodes, as well as examine the historical context related to the stories and what I see as the subtext. I'm deliberately avoiding complete synopsis-style descriptions of the episodes. In the cases where I struggle to avoid revealing significant portions of plot, I'm adding a spoiler alert, because my hope is that someone new to the show would read it, not just time-tested fans. I feel like there's not a lot of literature about the show. Aside from Back to Frank Black, most writers I've seen usually address Millennium as extensions in books they write about the X-Files, which is understandable given the two different worlds in popularity, but that's really my goal: add to the literature. -

Morgan & Wong’s Path Out of Season 2
@davidmarx2000I can imagine they "never really talked about it," because I was always under the impression people were a little stretched on that show. Certainly C.C. had a ton going on and some of the writers who went on to have good careers later on were kind of left hanging on MM, it seemed. I never sensed there was a whole lot of oversight and delegation came easy. No inside info on it at all, just my guess. That would certainly explain the divergent paths the show had in varying seasons. -

Millennium after the MillenniuM - available
@voidprimeTotally agree about getting interviews w/Morgan and Wong. (Season 2 my clear favorite.) Would absolutely love to hear Terry O'Quinn talk about Millennium, too, but he has been so absolutely silent on the subject. I don't think he interviews much anyway, but as for MM, I don't know what has him so recalcitrant. Maybe he hated his job??? I have no idea... -

@voidprimeI enjoy the deleted scenes and also director's and screenwriter's commentaries when they're available. They're included less and less frequently it seems. Too bad.
