The "Name Game"

Recommended Posts

Thought this would be interesting to some of you, posting all of our names and their meanings, origins, etc.  I look forward to your posts.  Please understand that I am not into myself, but love words, their meanings and origins.

'Darlene' from the Old English is, 'dearling.'  From modern English is, "darling" combined with the popular name suffix "lene." This name has been in use since the beginning of the 20th century.

The biblical meaning of my name is "Beloved."

The image I posted I found by typing "Darlene's Name," and really surprised at how accurate it is as to how I really do feel.

If they do't I'd not worry. Maybe some don't want their name posted for strangers to see?

It doesn't have to be both first and last name.  I just posted my first name.  I'm sure others will join in, and if not, then you and I can do some research on MLM cast and/or character names.
