HighPlainsDrifter
To me its amazing the very first episode of Millenium drew 17mil viewers. I dont know the numbers for the other episodes but the first season was popular with the viewers and the critics. I know the second and third season wasnt as good but some episodes where successful critically. Anyone here know the numbers regarding the success of the show? and if this show can grow legs again can it repeat its success
Raven Wolf
I read that the first episode of Millennium was the highest-rated pilot of any show in history. I've wondered quite often if this phenominon can be repeated. I've even had the crazy idea of trying to get into screenplay writing, since this series so inspired me...But I wouldn't even know where to begin to try to get my ideas out there. In `96, the X-Files was not even at it's peak of cult classic popularity, still several years away from the camp that it became in the final seasons. MovieMaker
Not become an outcast or anything but I really think the only reason MM recieved high ratings for the first year is because it was a new C.C. show and all the fans were expecting x-files or better...well they got better they just didnt know it because they changed the chanel when they didnt see any aliens. -MM

In season one we were introduced to a group that was going to save us from all of the evils that we were kind of expecting or at least were curious about with the turn of the century. A wonderful family that always provided a safe haven from the evil. Then season two and three tore everything that we had come to love apart. I wish they had progressed slower and made a easier progression to the new group maybe got a few more seasons out of it.
