HighPlainsDrifter
We all know Frank has the ability to see what the killer sees but its more than that. He is able to spot out evil and see demons but i dont recall him tallking or telling others about these kind of experiences. I notice for some people he deals with he doest see the demon within them
Raven Wolf
We all know Frank has the ability to see what the killer sees but its more than that. The origional intent was NOT to make Frank psychic, but to make him a Profiler, who'd honed his skills so well that it SEEMS like he's seeing into their minds. The inspiration was The X Files episode "Grotesque", as well as, I've been told...the move "Seven". However, the caracter of Frank seemed to change, and it became more of a "gift", something that he was born with, as we learned in "The Curse of Frank Black", and "Midnight of the Century". Also, it seemed the now Jordan had been born with this "Gift of Insight" as well. I notice for some people he deals with he doest see the demon within them Can you be more specific? It's late, and I'm drawing a blank.
HighPlainsDrifter
Frank sees demons when either looking at the person or at a crime scene for example....Gehenna and Sonehow Stan Got Behind Me, i know there is more but i would have to do my homework. On the other hand when dealing with other criminals like Raymond Dees (522666) or Art Nesbitt(Loin Like A..) he doesnt pick up the demon alert signal. Thats why i came to conclusion some of these serial killers or madmen are demons while others are slowly becoming possessed. Like what he said To Catherine in Gehenna.....may not be able to get the bad man, its something much bigger
Guest Allen
Raven hit on a good point that the show started with it being a well honed skilled then shifted in season two to an inherated trait. As far as the demons in most cases he's not seeing actual demons , he's seeing the demons that the person he's profiling sees. I guess that defense that the devil made me do has more credit it may not be a real devil but their mind is so far gone that they can't tell the difference.
