First of all i really liked MM S1 and when i saw S2 i was mad at Wong and Morgan. After a few episodes i really started to like where the show was going. That was until i saw "Fourth horseman" and the folluw-up laste episode in S2. I was in total chock, what the bloody hell happened?

Last episode of Season 2 is so badly shot and written, it brings me tears :arguing:

First of all they killed one major character Catherine Black and then the whole episode was like "What the? Why in? How can?. Second one of my favo characters in MM was Lara Means, and now she turned insane, wtf was that? :arguing:

Secondly i wactched Season 3 documentary, one of the best iv´e seen :)

Lance talked about MM movie, omg let this happen :)

And he said "When MM Group turned evil and Peter Watts where no longer my friend, the show started to get a closure, or when Chris Carte didnt know where Season 2 was going. Well im all there as well, Last episode in S2 was horrible. But to me it sounded like Carted didnt like S2 at all. At first i hated S2, but i sprung some of the best MM episodes :)

Im so mad after the documentary, as lance said "MM group evil, thats like saying Academy group is evil". I don´t understand, why make em evil, and WHY MAKE PETER WATTS BAD???????

Only watched the first episode in S3, and it was plainly awful, not as bad as last ep in S2 though. I like the new characters in S3 and yeah MM in widescreen does look awesoem :)

BTW X-files Millennium epsiode, 2000, anyone noticed how awful the quality is?

Talk about Video chopping, guess they needed all the space with AVP Inside, who ever cares about that pice of *beep* movie :arguing:

Once again srry guys for me temper, im just mad after i watched teh documentary and viewed last ep s2.

As you can see i have some questions, my biggest concern is will Frank Loose Watts forever? Like i said i only wacthed one episode, so try not to spoil evrything :)

BTW I loved one scene when Frank Tosses a chair into watt´s home!!!! Did Mong and Wong dislike MM???

argh, i hope you have the patience to read my thread, srry for the typo0!!!

Frank lost his wife and there was major plague in the world, yet the pilot in S3 barely mentions this, why?

Im gettin headaches sometimes watching MM, sometimes frank has his gift and sometimes he doesnt. Season 2 it apperaed he lost his gift, then in s3 it´s back?

Why was roedecker, fired?

As you can see im very CONFUSED, tx wong and morgan...

I dont have much a response at this time for you, but i do tend to think Frank Black seemed to be alot like Job(Bible) in this season. Like you i was upset how they made the MM grp evil didnt like it but there are a hand full of episodes that stand out like.....Curse of Frank Black..........The Hand of St.Sebastian and The Mikado

Wong and Morgan was a bad choice but i guess CC had to hand it off to someone.

I am awaiting Season 2 eagerly, cant wait

I tend to look at Peter Watts and "Millennium's" Walter Skinner. Quietly doing the right thing, even though it appears he can't be trusted. Remember, he went to Alaska to help Frank, against group orders, and, in the end, he still tried to help Frank. (though I won't say how, so as not to spoil it for you)

I still don't know how to insert quotes, so bear with me.

1. "As you can see i have some questions, my biggest concern is will Frank Loose Watts forever?...WHY MAKE PETER WATTS BAD???????"

Peter still believes in the group. He's not necessarly evil, he believes the group's goals and motives are good. He thinks he's doing the right thing, but he's definitely set up to be an antagonist in the third season.

2. "BTW I loved one scene when Frank Tosses a chair into watt´s home!!!!"

Yeah, that was awesome!

3. "Frank lost his wife and there was major plague in the world, yet the pilot in S3 barely mentions this, why?"

THIS was a total cop out! The world obviously came to an end in "The Time Is Now" and then they backtracked. They talk about Catherine's death and the plague again in "The Sound of Snow", and that offers a brief explaination as to why the plague is almost ignored in season 3. I always figured they treated the second season finale as if it could be the final episode in case MM wasn't renewed for a 3rd season. That's just a guess though.

4. "Why was roedecker, fired?"

They never explain it.

Personally, think they made a mistake in trying to keep the show more-or-less in "our" world. Season three should have headed in a direction similar to Stephen King's The Stand and become more fantasy oriented.

A more clear, black and white definition of Good and Evil could have been drawn and the Millennium Group goes from being, publically, a consulting group to being the organizers of a revolt against the rising Evil forces in the world.

I will likely not buy season 3... but I'm undecided. I liked Emma Hollis, but found the third season annoying many times.

I agree Calixar it only makes since I know one likes that idea but the remember the whole promise of the show, escalating evil as the millennium approaches, something has to give something major had to happen and Morgan and Wong made it happen, I didn’t see this as beeping the end of the world (the last episode of s2) but the beginning of the end, which was something touched upon in season one in Force Majeure, with the planets aligning and the 1000 days talk. So to me Chris carter set the playing field with the end of the world and Morgan and Wong brought it to light and yes I truly believe they ended season 2 the way they did because nobody thought the show was coming back, they have said it over and over again but it did come back so now how do you clean up the mess that’s left? Well I don’t see it as Morgan and Wong’s fault I mean how many shows get cancelled with no explanation as to what happens to the characters? I thank Morgan and Wong for trying to make it all make since if the show did not return.

I remembered season 3 being somewhat annoying too.

but now that I'm watching it on DVD again, I'm suprised how good most of the episodes are... like "skull and bones" and "through a glass darkly" are definetly one of my favourites.

Its good to go back and review things which in the past did not inspire or even disappointed us.. We do change as time goes by due to life experiences and just the simple act of aging [ I once thought people my age were ready for the nursing home.. :grin2: ] You may find many of the things that you once distained [ entertainment, food, clothing , etc] become your favorite !! :ouro:

Guest Second Coming

I like Season 2 the best of all the seasons. I kind of get tired of people ragging on this season because I feel it's the best. I started watching Millennium when it first aired but kinda lost interest when it was a MOTW show. I caught an episode in Season 2 and became addicted. I loved the mythology, the religious history(some of the stuff that's just now being touched on in The Da Vinci code), the history of the Millennium group etc. This season made me want to go back and rewatch season 1. Millennium needed to grow from season 1 and the MOTW format. There were hints in episodes that this would happen; Force Majure being one episode. I'm pretty bummed that the cover art for season 2 sucks so bad and that Morgan and Wong declined to participate in the extras. I'm also dissapointed in the cast and crew for ragging on Morgan and Wong and season 2. I guess they thought the show was going to be a horror show/serial killer of the week type show.

I agree with Second Coming... s2 feels like the natural extension of s1. To me, it seems like the show was headed there all along. It started out as a slightly mystical show about a serial-killer profiler, but step by step became more. Angels and Demons started to show up... That s2 was more mysterious just felt right.
