I Was Watching The Avp Dvd When...

I received the AVP DVD to review for my site (ENTERLINE MEDIA). I was listening to the first audio commentary track for the movie (the one with Paul W.S. Anderson, Lance Henrikson, and Sanna Lathan) when Lance's cellphone goes off during the commentary. It is strange to hear a cell go off when people are doing a commentary. Oddly enough, Lance thought he shut off hiscell when it rings again (to finally answer and it is Lance's wife). Stranger still, the cell phone goes off during a certain scene in AVP.

Wow! Perhaps he was late for dinner or something! Possibly a time differnce thing with him being in Prague for the filming.

Well, I think they were recording the commentary in LA because they were joking about joining director Michael Mann next door (who was doing a commentary for COLLATERAL).

I remember reading about him staying on in Prague after filming wrapped to record interviews etc. I think that's when Sue Myatt went over to interview him. I may be wrong. Funny stuff though!

But they record an audio commentary for a movie when it is edited and have the SFX finished and usually do it around the time a movie opens these days (which means they recorded the AVP commentaries around August of last year- several months after filming wrapped in Prague).
