When you own the rights to something you can do what ever you like. You answer to no one except when contracts [which we are not privy to] have been signed about distribution or posibly copyright snags which are holding up many TV series from being released because no one forsaw the dvd market explosion. The same thing happeded with the release of Stargate in the USA.

I've just recived confirmation from Fox UK who contacted Fox in the US to confirm the Season 3 Region 1 release date. They confirmed it as September 6th which also validates Voidprime's information. We'll add the date to the Calendar, but I've no idea as to why the long delay. At least you know its on its way!

I was right. My contact was even right about the date of Roswell Season 3 in the USA before FOX announced it.

Gunslinger, Millennium Season 3 isn't coming out on June 14th. As I have said before, it looks like the new date will be Sept 6.

I don't think we'll ever know! The extras etc have been ready for some time. The only think I can think of is that they want to promote another release, perhaps Lost, at the same time on the discs.

I am with Graham.....Could the masterminds at Fox think that because Terry O'Quinn is on a hit TV show that has a DVD coming out on the same day (Lost - great show if you haven't caught it) that just maybe- big MAYBE here folks - the timely release could help spur MM sales? "See Terry O'Quinn from the hit series Lost in the role that started it all" (yes, I realize he was in other series (x-files, harsh realm - I think he was in JAG too.. - and movies but you get where I am going)....Is anything ever a coincidence?

This is great news! And yeah as soon as I heard this was being released on the same day as Lost I thought it was because of the Terry O'Quinn connection and the type of show. And I mean that it's sort of like a 1013 kind of show...sorta.
