Guest SouthernCelt
Tonight "Third Watch" and "Medical Investigation" had crossover or combo episodes where the real "baddie" was the Marburg virus. Although all the ads for the connected episodes said that the plot centered on a sick criminal spreading a virulent disease in NYC that necessitated calling in the NIH to investigate, the actual disease wasn't identified until the second hour. As you might expect the original carrier was a monkey smuggled in from Africa. There was red herring clue looked into that made it appear the outbreak was started from a leaking research vial of the virus that had been stolen for sale on the black market. No Millennium Group or other secret society conspiracies here though. All the regular cast members from both shows survived their exposure so the disease didn't have a permanent impact on either show. Anyone else see these? Guest ollie toledo
You have to wonder about the timing of these MM like episodes. Do you think the writers study the MM DVDs for plot lines? On Without a Trace they had a very Mikado like episode on thursday: The team must find a kidnapped heiress before the results are revealed of an online poll that will determine whether she should live or die. This was complete with a cuter version of Roedecker watching from her computer while the other members save the girl live online
Beerbelch
BEER----> On a related subject, did anyone watch 'Monk' last night?. On 'Monk' last night his new assistant said to him 'I have a gift', Monk replied instantly 'Is it a curse too?' I loved it and laughed out loud.
