Guest Frank Black
Well what can I say? The music, the picture and the atmosphere it's just perfect. Funny after seeing an episode from the first season, and then going back to season 2, it hurts, it really does. Im currently watching "Force Majure" the one with noas ark, and I love that scene when frank goes outside the university to meet Dennis (who was he really). Excellent work again by Snow Now when I first watched Season 2 I was like huh? Now I kinda have to agree it's easyly one of my favorites. Though I still think Season 1 is the best, yet I keep coming back to season 2 though. I love evry episode in season 1 I think, I only got a few from season 2 that are great. But man the music in season 1 is just so great Season 3 even had some excellent episodes and music. I personally belives evry season is great, because stargate sg-1 also trys to have new ideas on evry season. Why did I make this thread? Well as iv'e said after watching a few episodes I felt like sharing my thoughs on this board. And im so happy we have this excellent site to post on :) Will there be a 4th season, a movie? Evry time im on season 1 I wanted millennium to be like this forever, not doing the server changes that took place on season 2. Then again I keep going back to s2. This is weird I can't make up my mind, I love s1,s2,s3 and yet do I? The picture quality/framing are excellent on s1, s2 was a bit lighter, yet I love it as well.... Ok im confused now I will soon take screenshot from all millennium seasons documentary's, trying to find the good parts :) So we can analyze the good vs bad parts, btw S3 documentary gotta be one of the best iv'e seen on any film/tv dvd :) In the end when they show off stage photo's mixed with snows music is like WOW Regards Frank Black
Guest SouthernCelt
Im currently watching "Force Majure" the one with noas ark, and I love that scene when frank goes outside the university to meet Dennis (who was he really). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Here are the guest stars for that episode: Brad Dourif as Dennis Hoffman Morgan Woodward as the Iron Lung Man Timothy Webber as Sheriff Camden CCH Pounder as Cheryl Andrews Mitch Kosterman as Lieutenant Sarah Strange as Maura Kristi Angus as Lauren/Carlin Peter Hanlon as Manager Cindy Girling as Myra Phillip Mitchell as Uniform #1 Merrilyn Gann as Carlin's Mother Thanks to fourthhorseman.com (Millennial Abyss episode site) If by "who was he really" you mean who played the character, see above. Dourif is one of the best at playing off-beat or weird characters. If you mean was his character something more than he seemed, perhaps, but since he didn't recur in the series to my memory, I doubt that he was supposed to be someone to watch for later. gravity well
tx for the info m8, I love bradley his a great actor :) Underated as well, he should be in more films, the big ones. He should have come back as a regular gues on the show Great actor <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I remember Carter talking about him wanting Dourif for the X-Files episode 'Beyond the Sea' and he really had to convince the Fox suits because he would cost a little bit more than the typical actor. Perhaps he figured this was another one-time-only deal.
Elders (Moderators) Libby Posted March 8, 2005 Elders (Moderators) Share Posted March 8, 2005 I've got loads of X-Files related articles and stuff and I really ought to sort it out. But if I recall correctly, in order get Brad Dourif (who, as you say, gravitywell, was going to be more expensive than the suits wanted) CC phoned the studio head at home on Thanksgiving Day. Now, although I'm a UKer, even I know that's a risky thing to do as he could have p*ssed off the guy, but it worked. I like Brad Dourif. He seems to play odd or quirky characters without going over the top. I can't make up my mind, I love s1,s2,s3 and yet do I? I've likened the three seasons to a three-layered box of chocolates. You don't have to choose which layers, just which kind of chocolates you like (and don't like). All three seasons have a selection, just made up slightly differently. " Man what a great quote to summarize Millennium 1-3 seasons I feel the same way :) @gravity well Yeah I can understand Carter, he knows Brad is a great actor. I would love to see him return as dennis
Guest wormgirl
Brad Dourif is actually in a lot of movies. If you like him so much, here are his movies and you can pick them out as you wish. I am sorry that I don't know how to use html, but here is the link. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000374/
