Only three discs.. sounds like they will use both sides... I hate it when they do that.. I would rather pay a bit more for more discs.

Its probably cheaper for them to make them as flipper discs. I am always weary of flippers as I think they have twice the chance of getting scratched or dirty. We shall all have to be twice as careful with Kolchak lol.

Not a big fan of flippers either. I'd also rather spend a few extra bucks for single sided ones with a nice picture on them. But now on to some good news.

The complete series DVD set for release on 10/4/05 has finally

appeared for pre-order on various sites around the net. Amazon has

it for $27.99 (US) with free shipping. Has anyone seen a better price?

In addition tvshowsondvd.com has posted shots of the box cover art

and also a shot of the dvd menu screen. It Looks really good, but I

don't think we will be getting any special features. Here's a link

Yeah, I love the cover too. The menu screen looks really good too. I think the menu screen is a shot from The Sentry episode.

NICE, Graham!

I used to love watching re-runs of Kolchak. Can't seem to find it in re-runs anywhere anymore. This series is certainly on my "wish list", for when I have money to spend on DVD collections. (focusing on Millennium season 3, and the only X Files I don't have....seasons 3, 4, a good copy of 8, and of course, 9)
