I could've sworn that there was a show with this title (or maybe the same subject matter) from about a year or so ago. Anybody know what the hell I'm talking about or am I nuts? gravity well
Miracles. That was it. I remember because it had the actor who played Robert the Bruce in Braveheart. IMDB is your friend. But you're right, this could be interesting. Which means it'll be cancelled after 7 episodes.
Guest SouthernCelt
Miracles. But you're right, this could be interesting. Which means it'll be cancelled after 7 episodes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I was really sorry to see that the show didn't pull enough audience to be continued. I guess it was too heavy on the religious details for the US society that's becoming ever more secular. That was it. I remember because it had the actor who played Robert the Bruce in Braveheart. IMDB is your friend. I watched two episodes thinking I'd figure out why the actor looked and sounded so familiar but never did. So I "cheated" and looked up the show title on IMDb, found his name (which now escapes me again!) and looked at his list of acting credits. In that case and several others, IMDb has not only been my friend, it's kept me from becoming obsessed with my memory blocks.
Guest ZOHAR
Miracles is currently running all of it's 13 filmed episodes in Canada on cable, on the Vision TV channel. It's a truly bizarre series, somewhat reminiscent of The X-Files. I recommend it to all MillenniuM fans and fans of occult thrillers in general. It is not available on dvd as of yet. Zohar out... And IMDB is one of those 3 or 4 completely indispensable websites that everyone should have bookmarked. Unless you hate movies and/or TV I suppose. It is not available on dvd as of yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It will be on April 19!

Do you remember the episode, i think it was either "The Fourhorsemen" or "The Time is Now" where Peter was talking to Frank and said..and i can only paraphrase.. ""can you imagine the panic the TRUTH would cause to a population obsessed with Elvis sightings and Area 51 abductions? "" ...something like that... A very, very prophetic statement at the time.. How true those words are even today...we have gone from Elvis sightings and alien abductions to American Idol and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Same thing, different year...anyway... Just finished the trailer for Revelations...not bad...has some promising moments. Don't know about Jesus being back on the earth as a child, and since it deals with a subject that people tend to not want to think about, i would probably give it 7-10 episodes before the big axe falls...watch the ratings after the pilot... Guest Burnout
shweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! I am looking forward to watching this show. Guest ZOHAR
I'm not sure yet, as I still have 2 more episodes left to watch of Miracles. But since it only ran for one season, I guess we'll never really know for sure. My choice is, "God is now here", of course. Zohar out... Yes, these are niche programs and don't have the wide appeal that the brainless masses greedily gobble up, but does EVERYTHING have to be about the bottom line? Okay, that was a rhetorical question. F-ing b*******s.
