voidprime
Great episode. I like how they're ahndling the story arc and Paul Callan unsure of wanting to work with Alva Keel and the hispanic ex-cop chick witha bullet in her brain. That is scary with that flight attendant speaking in aremaic and about to destroy reality. The girl who knew her whole life and the invalid woman who can talk and walk again, but the military won't let her see her husband, but Paul manages to get the tape smuggled out so her husband can hear her express her feelings. The script and acting are solid and so is teh pacing and direction of this episode. I hiope this show lasts for a little while. I am wondering about teh coming darkness that they are getting signs about. Their private meeting to discuss the guy who has a lecture on how to unravel reality and matter was on target and is one of teh best scenes of the episode. I'm hooked and I will turn in for next week's episode. Have a better one. Be Seeing You, David Blackwell
Guest LauraKrycek
I thought the sudden mention of the bullet in the brain was a little heavy-handed and "hey, wouldn't you like to know why she has a bullet in her brain? Doesn't it scream to you 'this is why I'm interested in miracles'?". But they handled it well with the tape at the end. I just hope they don't start explaining it in the very next episode; whatever happened to drawing out something forever with suspense? I thought that was where NBC did something ELSE bad for "The Others"; the first episode mentioned two children who were killed in a tunnel, and then NBC took the episodes out of production order and aired the episode that talked more about that as the next episode. But oh well, I guess we'll see if ABC can be as stupid as the rest of the networks in handling these kinds of shows.
