Elders (Admins) The Old Man Posted June 1, 2005 Elders (Admins) Posted June 1, 2005 Hi all, Just to let you know that todays problems with posting messages have been resolved. There was a faulty partition on the server's hard disk which disrupted certain services such as the mySQL server. Initially it looked like another user was overwhelming the SQL server with connections but this was later ruled out and normal service resumed. After the problem was fixed, it was discovered the TIWWA database had become corrupted, this has also now been repaired and tested. My apologies for the inconvienience. Graham (Admin)

My ISP seems to have frequent problems of this sort and never bothers to tell any of us frequent users what the problems are (nor do they get on the problems as quickly as your host seems to).
Elders (Admins) The Old Man Posted June 2, 2005 Author Elders (Admins) Posted June 2, 2005 Sure guys, no problem. Originally we thought it was effecting just this site but after the USA woke up (timezone), more people reported the same and our host was able to track it down.
