OK, the third episode is on tonight at 10/9 pm on your local ABC asations across the uS.   Paul callan talks to a guy in a wheelchair who speaks using one of those computer voice boxes.   ABC says the episode starts with a shock and ends with a twist, or it it the other way around.   Waiting to see this episode tonight.

Have a better one.

A very interesting episode.   Did anyone notice Clarence williams III also guest starred in the Millennium episode "Sense and Anti-Sense"?    This episode was like Millennium meets The Sixth sense.   It was very interesting to watch the episode a second time to pick up the clues on what was revealed by the good Doctor at the end of the episode.  I still like Alva Keel better than Paul Callan.   The woman of the group still seems like and underdeveloped character.  Skeet and Angus work good off each other, but the woman feels like the odd man out.    I liked what Mr. Friendly tried to do as a villian.   Made the story work.   Is anyone recording this show to DVD-R?   have a better one.

One of my friends who's had to miss the other episodes saw this last night, and he said that his favorite part was dying laughing at "Mr. Friendly".

The girl is an underdeveloped character, but I think they've got something going on with her that they're saving for later on.

Yeah, I noticed old Clarence right away... down to the lab coat, man!  Such a character ripoff...  I swear, I knew about dude's daughter the whole time.  They make everything way too obvious, like last week when it was apparent from almost the beginning that the people were going to go back to how they were before the plane thing.  If they ditch the playing to the finale, then it'll be better.

As a whole, I liked the episode.  I laughed through a lot more of it than they intended, I'm sure.  I particularly found the digitized voice funny, especially when it was going "Do do tu do-dooo...."

The episodes of this overall seem to be really good, and the acting is excellent as well.  Usually, you get a few rotten apples in the bunch, especially this early on, but none so far.  Even that kid in the first episode did a really good job.  And whenever something in it makes me crack up when it's not supposed to, I think of the early episodes of some of my other favorite shows.  The first two or three LGM eps, a lot of season one of XF... this one's off to a good start, especially comparitively.

I really liked this episode.  I agree, the Clarence appearance was a bit of a rip off... I mean, the whole "brilliant scientist/Dr forgetting himself, almost becoming a victum of his own experiement" thing, etc.  But, at the same time, I have to admit I was extremely glad to see him.  I love all the wierd science episodes of MLM.  That is one of the aspects of MLM that particularly appeals to me.  And it seems that Miracles will have me tuned in also for this reason.

I loved the sort of "Sixth Sense" inspired daughter charater.  I thought they did that very well.  Though their parting kiss and her "cool"   wave and disappearance around the corner was a little much.  I am definitely with Laura on the occurances of unintended humour!

And speaking of which... do you think they could have made more references to the "darkness," the "dark realm", the "shadows from dark corners..."     I mean, talk about "Don't be dark!"  For a minute, I though they might be already jumping into a spoof episode of the show.

Seriously, when they get to the point of being able introduce a humour episode, I think Skeet Ulrich will do great with this, and the Callan character will lend itself nicely to humour, I think.  Can't wait!  Wouldn't it be fun to really annoy the Alva Keel character for an entire episode, like Peter was annoyed or ruffled by Roedecker, Hoffman, or Chung!     :grin2:
