Let's say you were in the mood to make a compilation of songs either used in the show or somehow remind you of the show. What would be your immediate choices? I'm not completely sure of what I would put on, but I know that these songs would definitely make an appearance:

Dancing Barefoot by Patti Smith

Piggy by Nine Inch Nails

It's the End of the World As We Know It by REM

Gravitational Constant by Type O Negative*

Roads by Portishead

Love is Blue by Paul Mauriat

Mark Snow's theme music, of course.

* = I know it wasn't used in the show, but when I heard the song I was reminded, for some reason, of 'Anamnesis'.
