Elders (Moderators) Libby Posted September 13, 2005 Elders (Moderators) Share Posted September 13, 2005 Vain68: The synopses, both here and on the Abyss, are the official synopses. In this respect, the official synopsis is wrong. I've just checked my draft transcript for that episode, and you definately haven't lost your mind unless we both have, in exactly the same way! My draft transcript was written from a video of the original aired episode, so it's not even the case of cuts being made for the DVD. I'm not sure who actually writes the synopses for official web sites. I suspect that it's not the production company, but someone on the website team. Probably they get a script to work from, rather than watching the episode itself, and if there's something in the script that doesn't make it to the screen, they wouldn't know about that. Hippyroo: You're right. The guy who played old Michael Lanyard in Matryoshka was Wally Dalton, who also played Toby in Somehow, Satan. Both of you are really sharp-eyed MM fans. Guest MillenniumIsBliss
Wow, Amazon.com gets a 10 out of 10 in my book. Being that I used super saver shipping, I wasn't expecting to get my S3 until at least a week after the release date of Sept 6. Instead, they notified me that it not only shipped before the release date, but it was actually here on sept 8. Upon first inspection, the first thing that struck me is that this is by far my favorite packaging of the 3 seasons. I really like the blue color scheme, and the beautiful photos of Frank and Emma on the back. Yes, the pictures of Frank are beautiful too, but I say that in a manly kind of way. His face is simply a work of art and belongs on TV and in photos. The pictures on the front aren't quite as good, but I do think it's about time that Lucy Butler got on a cover.
