Besides the in Germany very popular radio play Gabirel Burns, there are of course a few other ones, witch gained the interest of mystery-lovers like me. The newest achievement from the label "Pandora´s Play", an independent label, is the series "Greetings from Gehenna" (Grüße aus Gehenna). Another world exists besides our own, a world of shadows called Gehenna. A black sun shines from the sky and creatures, demons are living there since many thousand years. They are waiting for the day, when the black dawn will tear down the barriers between our worlds and they can make their way into our world. The day is soon to come. The main character is a young man called Alex Leonhard. His life is turned upside down when he learns that his father Hendrick is a demon hunter since many years. But now he is lost in Gehenna and Alex has no choice but to continue the work of his father. For his help he´s got the servant of his father, called Nikodemus (a shape-shifter), Mara Dreiden (a young woman who is developing her magical gift) and a mysterious sword called Durandana, which is the only weapon, that can kill the demons. Time is running out, a mighty demon is already present in our world, his name is Martyn Azred. Flying demons are attacking and Alex and his friends have no other choice but to go down into Gehenna and searching for a way to prevent the end of the world and to find his father.

Two episodes have been released so far:

1) Am Anfang war das Schwert 1 (First there was the sword part one)

It is stated by the producers that the series will be continued as soon as possible. And it was actually the MillenniuM-Episode "Gehenna" that inspired the title of the radio play.
