Elders (Moderators) Viivi Posted November 19, 2005 Elders (Moderators) Share Posted November 19, 2005 We got snow last night, not very much but enough to bring some light into this downbeat November. At this time of year the days are depressingly short here and all the pretty colours are gone, everything you see outside is grey, black and a "colour" which I would call dead brown. But when I got out of bed this morning, opened the curtains and saw the white scenery and the light blue sky with a shade of pink coming from the rising sun, I knew that this would be a good day. Simple things, but that's my life. How was your morning? Love, dbsd :smiley_snowman:
Guest Frank L.
Great news, dbsd! It was absolutely freezing this morning. The day with the lowest temperature so far. I love the winter, but I like to watch the ice and snow from the inside of my warm house :tongue_snowman:

The 'Babe' (my wife if you hadn't guessed) says it may be too hot to cook a turkey on Thanksgiving (Thursday), but somehow we'll survive.
