HighPlainsDrifter
Before we got our baby Gabriel back in last Jan. my dad past away. 3-4 months ago i never thought anything of it........my Dog Kacie would look at the walls or the corner of the wall as if shes looking at someone. She sits and stares......never bark or whine. lately i have been noticing when my son plays he looks up and waves to no one standing there or he will smile and laugh. Is it my dad? or Am i reading too much into this? Soneone once told me young childrens perceptions are sensitive and sometimes could see things we cant as adults. Only my dog has actually gotten to know my dad through visits with him when he was alive and she adored my dad. My son Gabe has only seen pictures of my dad. When i thought of this idea my eyes just swell up, i wonder if this might be apart of the grieving process, or is he making his presance known to Gabriel Just a thought on Thanksgiving

In the final analysis, it doesn't really matter whether your father is or could be there. What matters is what your most comforting belief about it is. The reality of whether departed souls can return falls in that category of details that the living are not allowed to know but only to believe or not believe. We'll know when we make the journey over.
