Thanks anyway but never mind... Decided to check IMDb and found what's "official" for his appearances.

Someone asked on the Losttalk forum (fan forum for Lost fans) what X-Files episodes Terry O'Quinn had been in. I can remember only his brief role in the movie. Any X-Files fanatics out there that can answer that definitively??

He played the sherrif in Aubrey and a super-soldier in the ninth season episode Trust no 1

... and you were right for his part in the film, he played special agent Michaud (im not sure about the name though, sounds like this)
