This time of year is full of so many TV show sets and Special Edition releases in aiddition to big theatrical titles on DVD. I want to know what DVDs are you wanting for this time of year.

Also if you're looking for good DVDs to buy, you can always check out the reviews at any DVD review site or even Enterline Media (Shameless Plug).

Great DVDs out this time of the year in the USA at least are:

LOST Season One

SIN CITY- RECUT, EXTENDED, and UNRATED

Batman Begins Deluxe Edition

Battlestar Galactica Season One (the first half of Season 2 is out on 12/20 in the USA)

Serenity (Firefly fans rejoice, it is only a week away on DVD)

Kingdom Of Heaven

Other great DVDs are also out there that I haven't listed.

Not much out there i dont have already. I love to buy box sets, and tend to stay away from single stuff..although i was first in line to get War of The Worlds (the new one) because i never got around to seeing it at the theatre...

I would have to say that i am somewhat interested in the first season of Twin Peaks, but i need some of you to advise me yes or no....I know its by David Lynch, and the theme song is pretty cool, but thats about it...

I love it. The first season, while containing some absolutely mind-blowing imagery, is fairly tame when it comes to Lynch's flirting with the surreal. I love the blend of murder mystery, black comedy, and Fifties' melodrama that is Twin Peaks. Just be sure to pick up a set that includes the Pilot (the region 1 version doesn't), or download and watch the Pilot before viewing the series.

Just make sure you get the Unrated version of Exorcism of Emily Rose (it's the Directoor's preferred cut that including an additional scene and other small changes like a little fixing to the colors).
