Guest SouthernCelt
I'm several generations removed from native Scots, but check my avatar for the Anderson clan or sept (a sept of Ross) symbol -- motto: Stand Sure. Also track back to Scotland on the Nesmith (Naesmyth originally) line from near the Scotland/Britain border. Here's the Naesmyth crest:

Walkabout
My paternal great grandmother was a full blooded Scot of the Murray clan. There are many numerous celtic women [ Irish and Scot] again on my fathers side who married into the Larimer family. My great, great, great grandfather had two wives [ Jane Shannon and Nancy McDowell] and gave him 20 children. YIKES
Raven Wolf
Well, with a name like Erin.....you know I've got a lot of Irish blood. "McRaven" is not my legal name, but is a name I felt was more true to me than the one I was born with, as I do not see myself as a member of the family which GAVE me my birth/legal last name. There was no "McRaven" on that site, but there was a "Craven". So here's the link to that pic. https://www.heraldry.ws/coatsofarms/craven.gif
