Raven Wolf Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Raven, where could I find that thread? No longer on TIWWA. Now at The Millennium Group I hid the group, for security reasons, so if you'd like to join, please PM your email address to me and I'll invite you. Raven, isn't it Lara, not Laura....? Well, I wasn't sure, and so I looked around MDUK till I saw her name, and cut and pasted it, to be sure I got it right. Anybody want to correct me, and I'll see if I can change my name there?

Raven, you should just be able to edit her name vis a vis editing your profile as you normally would.
Raven Wolf Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Thanks, vain. And welcome to the group! I'll double check the spelling before I try to change it.
Guest ZeusFaber Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I'm fairly certain that the character is named Lara Means. Sometimes on the show certain characters would pronounce it inconsistently though, which makes the confusion in many documents easy to understand.
Guest betweenthelines Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I'm fairly certain that the character is named Lara Means. Her name is Lara. In some of the later episodes of Season 2 the credit "Kristen Cloke as Lara Means" pops up. Back on topic, did anyone read Frank's first internet survey? Some of those answers were hysterical, though I doubt Frank would respond so... bluntly.
Raven Wolf Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 There. Spelling changed. https://www.myspace.com/62061947
voidprime Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 hahahhaha. Some people are having too much fun at MySpace.
Raven Wolf Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 O.K. I'm now having even MORE fun at MySpace! Someone contacted me, from a band, obviously just trying to use the site to promote their band, and they think I...Lara Means, is a REAL PERSON! So, I decided to have a little fun. Here is our correspondance up to this point. First, they just said Hi, and I said Hi back or something. Nothing magor. Our correspondace follows. See if any of this rings a bell. Is that just water in your hand? -Joseph I said something like that it was at a Christmas party, and that this was a rough time of year for me. Then, this... Mar 13, 2006 7:04 PM Flag spam/abuse. This is a tough time of year for me. Angels are everywhere. Yeah, cute, cuddly, flapping their wings, blowing their little horns all over place ... You know that wings on angels are something that the early church took from the Egyptian gods because people liked it? It gets better! Subject: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: This is who we are.... Body: I didn't know that but it makes sense. Well, it's not what I see, but from them, I get the same feeling when "he" appears. And that's how it all started when I was a kid -- I just sort of felt them. I felt a presence around me. And then one day, a man came over to our house; he was just an out-of-town business associate of my father's. They were talking in the living room ... and there he was. Standing -- well, not standing -- behind this man, in an intense, beautiful light. I was overwhelmed with this horrible sensation. And I went to my mom and I told her that that man was going to die today. My mom got so mad at me for saying such a thing ... but he did. He had a coronary in his hotel room that afternoon. Yeah, but I didn't talk about it much until Peter Watts approached me about the Millennium Group. See, I figured everyone saw them. But I got very clued in when my mother took me to see Father Esposito, who angrily insisted if I kept "seeing things", that I'd have to become a nun -- which was a very noble calling, but ... ... is a serious setback in a boy's interest in you. Body: I can see that, you need to experience life and all that it has to offer. Seems like being a nun might be inhibiting When he appears, all my senses are heightened: everything is clear and uncluttered in my mind, and my heart ... I feel like nothing can stand in my way ... But I would've done anything, anything, not to have this in my life. (continued)

Body: What do people on the outside say? Do they believe you? What is the purpose of this person to help you? Has he explained why? He should be a comfort but his appearance always frightens me. Not as a symptom of insanity because I believe in him, but when he appears it's always a portent of evil. You know, in the New Testament they're almost absent. They show up to announce Christ's birth and later explain his death, but in the Old Testament they're everywhere. Angels are constant messengers. They forewarn God's wrath, announce disaster, alert the faithful of oncoming persecution. Their popularity with the church and its followers rises and falls, usually increasing during times of war -- (do I know my Millennium episodes or what??? Thank Goopta for transcripts!)
