Raven Wolf
2) Monster - Lara alone in her living room at the conclusion of the case. Ummm.... I thought this sounded a bit weird when I read it, and now that I've been having a "Lara marathon", I can say this... She's never in her appartment in this episode. The last scene you see with her, she's on the plane, looking out the window again.... I've gone through 3 Lara episodes tonight.... I'll be able to outline something really good soon!!! Raven Wolf
Here's the lyrics to "She Talks to Angels". The song's about drugs, but it can easily be transferred to Lara's situation. She never mentions the word addiction In certain company Yes, shell tell you shes an orphan After you meet her family She paints her eyes as black as night, now Pulls those shades down tight Yeah, she gives a smile when the pain comes, The pains gonna make everything alright Says she talks to angels, They call her out by her name She talks to angels, Says they call her out by her name She keeps a lock of hair in her pocket She wears a cross around her neck Yes, the hair is from a little boy And the cross is someone she has not met, not yet Says she talks to angels, Says they all know her name Oh yeah, she talks to angels, Says they call her out by her name She dont know no lover, None that I ever seen Yes, to her that aint nothing But to me, yeah me, Its everything She paints her eyes as black as night now She pulls those shades down tight Oh yeah, theres a smile when the pain comes, The pains gonna make everything alright, alright yeah She talks to angels, Says they call her out by her name Oh yeah, yeah, angels Call her out by her name Oh, angels They call her out by her name Oh, she talks to angels They call her out Yeah, they call her out Dont you know that they call her out by her name
ethsnafu
Greetings all, Joe forgive my ignorance but what are the names of the songs? They're great by the way and I'm itching to buy them from Itunes to listen to them properly. You're right about 'Monster' Erin so forgive my ignorance. My aged brain is struggling these days. I can't quite remember the scene I am thinking of, maybe Anamnesis?, but it's quite a long shot that establishes that outside of her working life she has nothing. It's quite melancholy and serves to ramp up the isolation issues as we move towards 'the inevitable'. Best wishes to all, Eth EDIT - Yeah it is Anamnesis I am thinking of. The final scene as it happens.
Raven Wolf
Here's my thing.... I re-watched Monster, 1919, Goodbye Charlie, and Midnight of the Century last night. I'm putting in Owls & Roosters today.... But, I've got to get the disk back with Siren and Anamnesis from my mother, who wanted to see them. I should have a good outline for you by tonight or tomorrow at the latest! (I keep playing the song, and seeing this in my head.... Wow, Mark, if we can pull this off, it'll be amazing!)
