Carter was also bringing science-fiction writer William Gibson on board, along with Darin Morgan. It would have been an amazingly entertaining and engrossing series. Chris Carter also said that season 3 would have taken place in Australia! And they wanted to bring back Jose Chung (as VC in Harsh Realm). So I guess the show had a HUGE potential, and my favorite characters from Harsh Realm are Hobbes, Florence, Inga Fossa and Pinocchio.
