Guest SouthernCelt
I think its great that they put the digi pet thing in this episode. Adds a bit more depth to Roedecker! As I remember, this was the episode where viewers saw that there were things that would cut through Roedecker's flippant, jovial repartee and get him serious really fast. His expression change when he saw the killer cut the victim's throat was great. From this kind of expression: Through this "not fun anymore" expression: To this type of deadly serious expression:

ethsnafu
I adore Roedecker in spades. Shame we never got the 'Season Two' episode "Dirty Snowball" which was Roedecker centric. I would sell my organs to get my hands on the script. Edited November 26, 2007 by ethsnafu
Guest ZeusFaber
Despite not being a Roedecker fan myself, do tell more of "Dirty Snowball", eth. I believe that's a piece of Millennium trivia I've heard very little of.
ethsnafu
Greetings Zeus, It was a script submitted which Morgan and Wong rejected as it detailed the prominence of a comet mixed with a suicide cult narrative. It was penned by Michael R. Perry but M&W felt that comets and suicide cults had already featured in Season Two episodes so rejected it favour of Mikado. Wise move but a tantalising piece of history I have been trying to get my mittens on for some time. Edited November 27, 2007 by ethsnafu

Elders (Admins) The Old Man Posted November 28, 2007 Elders (Admins) Share Posted November 28, 2007 Thanks for the info. Yes thanks for that! The episode may have better explained Roedecker's departure instead of leaving it up to a character to say he was fired if memory serves me correct.
