Posted on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 12:01 AM by Dennis Michael Christina Radish Photo Spotnitz moves his operations over to Touchstone TV Frank Spotnitz didn't have a huge success with his revival of the Night Stalker series…but he's happy with his relationship at the studio that tried it. Daily Variety reports Spotnitz…one of the creative forces behind The X-Files…has signed up a new deal at Touchstone Television that will run through 2008. Spotnitz was at Fox TV before that, having joined The X-Files in its second season and collaborating with X-Files creator Chris Carter on that show, as well as Millennium, Harsh Realm and The Lone Gunmen. His Night Stalker revival only lasted a few showings on ABC…although that show is still available for download on iTunes, and it's headed for a rerun afterlife on the Sci Fi Channel this summer. Even though the company gave his show the axe, Spotnitz says the experience was a positive one. "It's always painful when your show gets canceled, but they were extremely supportive creatively and tried to give the show all the resources they could." Spotnitz and Touchstone have other plans…but they're being kept under wraps for now. Spotnitz and Touchstone has things under wraps? i wonder what? a new MM series? Hmmm, sounds REALLY interesting; however, the link doesn't work. Do you think you could edit this post and fix the link? I'd love to read about it! Thanks Joe!
