It went funky weird and wouldn't work for me that well for over half an hour after shutting it down and turning it on. Then it decides to work again. Sigh, I need a new computer. However, I hope this thing works for a little while longer. I guess I just have to do that quick restore on the system again and build the hard drive prograamming from scratch soon. Hope I can finish thre or four outgoing projects before I do this (easier to do when it comes to time).
My favorite buddy, the pomerainin named Winn passed away in his sleep on the morining of my brother's birthday. He would jump up on my bed and sleep beside me. he would play ball anytime and bring back the ball ready to have it thrown again. he was gettinga little slower and he rested more often, but he had that spark in him. I was hoping he would be around for many more years behind teh 2 1/2 years I knew him. he was my Step-Mom's dog, but we grew close. he found a new buddy and he came a
I probably can start out and say this is't my first blog.I have other blogs:ENTERLINE MEDIA UPDATESABYSS OF THE VOIDThen I have this certain small web site which has revies and articles on DVD, movies, and TV shows:ENTERLINE MEDIAOther than that, lay back and check out these other sources and read this blog as I try to find something to say here.Later.
I have three DVD reviews up at ENTERLINE MEDIA this week with oen more to finish the week.I have 1600 words still to write of my goal of trying to write 5,000 words each week for my novel. I revised an article I'm working on for a magazine. Still need to send two emails i have been meaning to send off. Then I have added a paragraph to a new short story I'm working on while I write another segment of a short story over at blogspot.
The fourth season ends on May 13th with the last new episode to be aired on UPN ever. So mark your calenders for the day the series finale airs (unless someone else picks it up for season 5 like the SCI-FI Channel or SpikeTV).
It is just one of those days when I hear a friend's problems with her stepson (his mom who sees him every weekend or two is the problem). I'm not going to get into it, but I feel like I need my brain scrubbed after hearing about this kid's problems. Ugh.I haven't been posting anything meaningful lately, buT I'll try to post something interestuing next week. just go check my LiveJournal if you want to read more about this week. I'm just a little tired. I stayed uup too late and got up five
I will be 32 on 9-11-2006. If anyone wants to get me anything (whether it is a DVD on my list you want to see reviewed for the web site or get me to read a digital film making book), they can check on my Amazon.com wish list link over at the ENTERLINE MEDIA blog:

As for the 5th anniversary of 9-11-2001, my heart goes out to anyone who lost someone on that day. However, I think it is past time for all of us to heal and remember the good. Any day shou
New reviews are up at ENTERLINE MEDIA. I'm waiting for the new FOX series, THE INSIDE, to air tonight. I did come up with an interesting idea for s sci-fi story/script today.I do hate digging trenchs to make water flow to elsewhere. It poured hard yesterday and Monday morning. The yard was flooded in places and still is. I'lll be glad to be back in Columbia Falls tomorrow.
I hate short weeks. Always too much to do on those weeks. DVDs coming in to review, things to write, and stuff to revise. Calls to make. I just have to worry less about stress. Argh. Then the weather is supposed to be nasty. Grrr.
OK. I have been waiting on word that an article that a magazine is interested will buy it (the previous editor was bvery interested and then the editorial staff changed).I have also been scanning some printed pages from my Brother Word Processor into the computer via a program called Readiris. I have finally been able to figure how to use it the best, but it's not a perfect program for scanning printed pages. So I have one short story scanned. I just have to scan the other one (which is twice
I watched last night's episode of 24 which I taped last night. The Jack Bauer Power hour always thrills and excites. I spotted James Morrison as a guest star in this episode. I also noticed teh director of the episode was Bryan Spicer, director of several episodes of THE LONE GUNMEN. Oddly enough, I gravitated to an episode of E! True Hollywoood Story on Justine Bateman before I went off to start my day.E! is definitely an addictive time waster at times. I'm glad I have ignored it at times
I was listening to the latest Peter Murphy CD (Unshattered) last night and it has to be the best PM album since Cascade. Back later for more ranting and whatever.
So far, I have started on the DVD Review of SUSPECT ZERO (hopefully up and finished in 12 hours from now) and wrote another 100 words of the sci-fi novel (bringing it to 19,500 words almost)I have to revise a couple of pages ona couple of different short stories before i submit them, finally go back and beef up a couple of short stories before I submit them, tackle a couple of short stories I want to finish, and get the supernatural noir novel started beyond my ground work over in my Dead Jour
I found a gem when I reviewed THE I INSIDE:http://enterline2.tripod.com/theiinside.htmlI do include some spoilers in the review, but I have left so many others out of the review. If you need to see a great pyschological movie that will screw with your mind, rent THE I INSIDE. Better than IDENTITY and as good as MEMENTO.The movie stars Ryan Phillippe, Stephen Rea, Piper Perabo, Sarah Polley, Stephen Lang, and Robert Sean Leonard.
I watched the Unrated Extended Director's Cut this morning. The movie is creepy, but now it is even more creepier. The alternate ending (one of the deleted scenes) is very creepy. The climax has tons of stuff not in the US theatrical version. I watched the movie with the subtitles from the commentary track (while having the movie's audio on as I didn't think I had time to watch the movie while listening to the Japanese that was translated into English subtitles for the commentary track).
Every single year, the cable rates go up as they outpace inflation. Finally had 25 channels added to cable last year. There was a $2 rate increase after three months. At the end of 2004, they hiked the rates up by $5!!! They even hiked up the rates of the worthless Starz!/Encore mantinee pack by $1.50 which led me to drop those two channels like a bomb only to be charged by the damn cable company a fee of $20 for the downgrade. b*******s! I once heard that sports channels are the reaso
I thought only two versions of WAR OF THE WORLDS were coming out (one is the low budget version from Pendragon Pictures and the other is the big budget version directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise), but a third version (known as WOTW or INVASION) starring C. Thomas Howell is coming to DVD on Tuesday (a day before the big buudget film starring Mr. Cruise opens in theaters). Without further wait, a review of the Pendragon Pictures take on the H.G. Wells tale:http://enterline2.tripo
I'm going to get rid of 3 to 4 DVDs including one I do really like (but might never watch again as in the case of BIG FISH) out of my collection. I should listen to the commentary to THE SINGING DETECTIVE (the movie and no the mini-series). The movie shines when Katie holmes is in a scene and when Robert Downey Jr. is in a film noir nightmare (where he seems out of place in the hospital reality). Mel Gibson is just miscast as the ugly shrink guy. BORN TO DEFENSE is a very horrible Jet Li mo
I was watching this Korean movie about two brothers who are drafted into the Korean Army to fight against teh North Koreans at the start of the Korean War. The battle scenes are brutal and realistic as anything you will see in SAVING PRIVATE RYAN and BAND OF BROTHERS. The Korean War looks to be more brutal than anything seen in those movies and TV shows that covered World War 2. The DVD will be out on Feb 15, 2005 in the USA. I will watch the extras and have a DVD Review up at ENTERLINE MED
