Guest MillenniumIsBliss Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Okay, okay..., so I did it for the lame title, so sue me... Pluto no longer a planet Every time I hear the word Uranus, it brings to mind the famous scene in Ferris Beuller's Day off with Ben Stein. As for Pluto, what are they going to cal it now, an asteroid?
Guest ___ L@the_of_Heaven___ Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 what are they going to cal it now, an asteroid? DOH!!! You did that on purpose, didn't you!!!??

Guest Frank L. Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 It's called a 'dwarf planet' now. But I read about this years ago in a science mag. I guess it's 'official' now. There are other objects that are larger than Pluto is. I guess they decided that 8 planets are a lot easier to remember then a LOT more.
Guest ___ L@the_of_Heaven___ Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 There are other objects that are larger than Pluto is. Dude, I have heard that there is nothing, NOTHING larger than URANUS!!!
Guest gmcp Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Stephen Colbert's Take Remember, Pluto is still a planet.... just a lower class of planet. I think it's all silly.
Guest Frank L. Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Dude, I have heard that there is nothing, NOTHING larger than URANUS!!! Where did you hear that?
Guest ___ L@the_of_Heaven___ Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Where did you hear that? Cough up the bloody truth about the signature and I'll tell you!!!
