Well, not to actually express any opinions one way or the other, but it is historically documented that the U.S. Government DID know full well in advance of the invasion at Pearl Harbor and it is strongly suggested that the event was even encouraged or orchestrated for the express purpose of bringing the U.S. into the War...

So, ladies & gentlemen...; all I'm saying is... It HAS been done before...

The problem I have with the conspiracy theory in this case is that they're saying the US DID the whole thing, not just allowed it to happen as FDR and his cabinet seemed to have done with Pearl Harbor. With something like 9-11 there's a drastic difference between 'looking away' while someone inflicts harm and in planning and executing the act.
