I remember hearing Chris Carter being asked why he named the character Frank Black. Carter replied "I'm a Pixies fan". Frank Black - the real one - was/is the front man for the seminal late 80s Boston Grunge band "The Pixies". They are often credited as the godfathers of grunge, with Kurt Cobain and Radiohead, among others, who credit their existence to this group... Anyway, I was checking out the guy's website and found this wonderful picture: https://www.frankblack.net/images/other-fb.jpg It's likely that someone else has already alerted you guys about this but hey, there's a devil between us and whores at the door and whores in my bed.
