Frank Black and Samantha Walters...What If?

These shows were on Network tv at the same time, Profiler an extra season w/o Ally Walker.

Sometimes I wonder how a crossover episode(s) would've worked back then.

With those two working on a case together.

any thoughts?

I've never seen the show BB though I do remember the controversy about the two shows. Apparently the premise of both shows, and the arc of their respective first seasons, were similar enough to raise eyebrows and the fact that Profiler hit the screens first didn't help Millennium. I remember an article which unfairly suggested that Profiler had been written long before Millennium and it's central premise was being shopped around the studios right about the time Chris Carter decided to develop Millennium (you can see where they were going with this cant you)

Now, I do recall reading that Millennium was head and shoulders above it's nearest rival (if you want to think of the show that way) but didn't Profiler get, at least, a fourth season?
