JR Bourne plays Carl in the judge I also noticed Tom McBeath who has a reoccurring part in Stargate SG1 as Colonel Maybourne. Tom McBeath played a detective in Kingdom Come. Both charactors are short lived, you'd can't blink much I have seen JR Bourne is other places but I can't remember them off hand. On 22 March 2005 at 6.29pm [i believe that is Vancouver time] Amanda gave birth to a hefty 9lb 4oz baby girl. Her name is Olivia B. and by all accounts mother and daughter doing fine.
