Guest Frank L.
I'm confused again. I didn't mean offense to Muslims. I was trying to see from their prespective. I'm aware Muslims aren't violent. Only the radical element such as you find in any Religion. Unless you were refering to the Pope's remarks? I was... I'm sorry if I made you think otherwise. I do agree with your points.

Sorry this is late, I thought the board was down. I'm not in any way defending the violence either! I have never seen a pope apologise before. It doesn't seem ... kosher! we are cool
Guest Frank L.
Alright! Thank you... ...some of you might know, I'm still studying and in my class Public Opinion we were discussing this case. Actually we came to the conclusion that the pope shouldn't have said this, and the extremist muslim community reacted exaggerated. I guess the media was also involved in over-hyping this issue. Guest SouthernCelt
I guess the media was also involved in over-hyping this issue. I think that is foregone conclusion in any event that creates a media storm. In my view that's the way the media has of creating readership and viewership. If you've got a dull news day, do a little creative writing to sensationalize something that should have just been ignored with all the other mundane stuff.
