Well, before I would be giving out where I live, please understand my hesitation because I don't know you, and after all, this is the millennium board. (no offense)

the local librarys and even the local papers keep back issues for three months, the co that published these articals no longer exist. what other resources are out there??

Invisible web searches provide far more info that normal internet web searches.

The search engines that do go to the invisible web (so called) are ones that you pay for / subscribe to.

No biggie about helping out or not. Your reservations are understood. Never really thought about it. (Stupid on my part.)

So - FYI - if you are a student or employee at a business who subscribes to catalogs, libraries, etc use the invisible web search engines and start with names and specific dates and see what you find. Then search using more general terms and info to see if you can find fringe stuff.

Good luck.

No, I am not a student, and where I work doesn't allow searching the web on their computers (the computers are so old some of them are pre windows!)

I did find a way- I went to one of the news paper sites and just typed in "murders" and it listed several hundred articals.

While I was skimming over them I found two that related to where I live now, and I discovered that the road that runs past my neighborhood was cocidered a "Pioeline for drug trafficing" Both articals mentioned a name that I remember, a sweet girl whos aunt I knew- she had gone out with friends and they slipped her extocy and then when she got sick they took her to their house where the parents knew she was vomiting and they didn't do anything to help her and she ended up dieing. They caught the little crapper who sold them to her and he wanted to plea bargan- but right now sits under a felony murder charge.

I still have 400 articals to go, and dontcha know that they are in reverse order. I don't know how far back they go.

Like I really wanted to know I live next to a drug pipeline?

I found also an artical about houses that have had violent deaths in them, and I remembered that my brothers neighbor took in two grandchildren because the mother and the other grand mother murdered the husband and buried him in the basement. It was the realitor when they went to sell the house that noticed an odd smell in the basement and did a little digging.

There was a shoot out in my aunts old home ( the current owners were on vacation.) the guy had been taking shots at people and the police chased him and he ended up breaking into the home because there was no one there, and the the news said there were several thousand rounds peppered into the walls.

The other shoot out happened two miles from my parents home. Actually, two shoot outs, one right next to eachother, the one, the guy and his wife had won some money in the lottery, and they were happy for all of, um, two years, and he came home and shot her, then killed himself. The place right next to them had a guy on the run break in, and then there was the same stand off and he died too.

Now, this isn't concidered a bad neighborhood. Its actually a very pricy neighborhood filled with tv persons, and sports people and its very upscale.

I don't know if its from all of the years of the five original familys inter marrying (inbreeding) or that this happens because people just- have no place else to go, or that these crimes jump out because they don't often happen.

The only other really wierd thing that happened was the time the young boy disapeared. He was supposed to go to the library to study for a test and he didn't come back home. His car was found between a strip mine and a bar, and the people at the bar didn't remember him stopping in (they were later cited for selling to minors. ) Three days went by, and there was no sign of him.

I was driving home from work and I knew the place where the kid disapeared, and I had this thought- they didn't look under the bridge. I knew he was alive, and hurt.

It was the next day that a helicopter flying over the area sees a patch of white on the ground by the bridge that the kid had walked over, and he was alive. He had gone into the bar for a drink, walked back and had slipped on the gravel and fell 20 feet, He was able to stay alive by using his shoes tied together to get water from the stream below. He had yelled himself hoarse and couldn't respond when they were calling him.

There are times that I have known when someone was going to die- call it an interuption of sleep patterns that stop the day of death. At one time I had read tarot cards via the web and I have done readings for friends, with suprising accuracy- too accurate some times. Its illegal by the way to be a fortune teller in my town-

So, I have all of this information - the truth that is stranger than fiction, What do I do with it- how do I mold it and change it so that its- what should be done?

Mum always said I should have been a detective. Its how I managed to get through college, make what I was studying a mystery and pick it apart until I knew everything. But sometimes when I am walking through an antique shop something- calls to me.

and then the mystery begins again.

There is a name for that, and I can't remember it right now, its too early- The drs don't know why that happens ether for all the hair to fall out. I don't think it was related to finding the head though.

Our local river claims many people who feel that just because its only 6 foot deep that they can take a skif in it. last year My nieces escort for a friends wedding came in where I work and we were chatting and he mentioned that he was going on the river that evening, and I let him know it was a very dangerous thing to do.

they pulled his body out of the water a week later. His friend managed to get to shore but had serious lung problems after that.

a few days ago three men overturned their boat, two survived , one did not.

When you say the black country, are you refering to the Black forest of germany? While we have pubs here, most of the brew comes from bottles and its not good. I can't drink brews, as I am alergic to most of the grains that they put in it, however, I do enjoy wines.

ohhh- I loved the time that I had in England! I stayed with friends who lived in the south and I had a delightful time leaning out the window and Baaahhing at the sheep ( Sheep will follow anything that remotly SOUNDS like a sheep btw!)

I got hooked on the teas that were over there as well. ( I was a tea toater before and now its gotten worse. I know the better the draft, the smaller the bubbles are in it. We had alot of mines about where my grand mother grew up, and I remember the stories of when they would hang the wash to dry it would be black from the soot, and I have seen photos of the people with their glasses off and you see the rings about their eyes. There was Black Lung from the coal dust that alot of them who didn't die in the mines would die from later.

I would really really love to come back to england, but unless I would win the lottery that wont' happen.

Lau from Utopia Banished lives in england, and also Bunny-- she lives up north,

England is one of the few places that I can travel to and the alergys don't kick in.

yeah, neat thing, when I went to london, and everyone was clipping along and I was keeping up and I realized I wasn't wheezing like a freight train. something to do with the pollens being so different my body didn't know what to do with them and ignored them. I could breath fine (I did snore a bit.) Mum figured with the constant rain that it kept the air clean.

You may find different parts of the country will be better for you.

or, you could come to the states.

ok, I have started a yahoo club that I am going to use as a writing forum for this. If you don't have a yahoo ID then get one and you can join at

https://groups.yahoo.com/group/moonshadowecho/

I have the beginnings of the events up, and I am going to do some cutting and pasting soon to get things in order. Please leave comments in the files area,

hmm, my grandmother at one time asked my grand father for 25 cents and he asked why, and she said it was to play poker with , (during the depression 25 cents was alot of money, and he said ok, but when it was gone, that was it, and she came back three hours later and he said did you run out of money, and she said no, the other people did...and she got a crock and put it on the table and emptyed out her purse and put alot of coins in the jar. She did repay my grandfather the 25 cents, and continued to play numbers, poker, bingo what ever she could find till the day that she died, and never was the jar empty. She died at the age of 28 from a mastoid infection, and took the secret with her to the grave.

I went on a cruise and the person next to us at the slot machines won the top prize twice in ten miniutes, and she said she did it all the time.

I can't fly any more, and I don't do boats across water too well ether, at least not for the first two days. so a boat trip may be the only way over. I still have a current passport about here some where.

I think, if I would win, I would buy some property and have a studio built, with all of the fun things that I always wanted to work on. I mean, I do have some property here, and It may be just as easy to put the new place in the back yard and take out the front part of the house- if that makes sense?

I have a lottery ticket that I haven't checked, but I know that the power ball is played tomorrow night and its like 80 million. I know I would pay off the morgage on this one, pay off my car and my ONE credit card bill, buy my parents home for my brothers to live in, and then work on the addition here.

Do they make victorian ball and claw hot tubs?

So, do you think that I should write out all of the stuff that is happening and make it into a book? What would be the angle, and how should I put the main character in? there are too many miss marples out there, (jb fletchers etc) I know the thing about the arm chair detective is over worked and I don't know enough about the police stuff to make it credible.

What about from a tour guides point of view, that would be pretty morbid, wouldn't it??

I was talking to my mother last night about the drug pipeline and she gave me some insite about how its coming in. We have a few airports that are huge, and then there are these smaller airports that are all over the place. If you have enough land that is flat, you can land anything. The people were landing at the airport then popping the stuff into a truck and the road takes you right to a main artery. The best that the cops can do is target the road as a DUI check point and pull people over that they think are suspicious.

so, how should I tell this? first person, narative? make characters up to solve it...

Help!

Btw, I have two tickets that I haven't checked yet, the top prize is like 70 million, there is one on sat worth over 100 million.

It would be nice, ya know?
