Straightheads was on Film4 in the UK last night and is bound to be repeated. Haven't seen it all yet, I had to go bed after the shock of hearing Gillian F'ing and blinding!

Heh, did you like what you got to see? I was disappointed with the movie myself. Gillian's acting was great (as always) but the movie was quite slow-moving and I felt like the story wasn't properly developed. I will say that the ending features a very . . . creative use of a rifle.

Is this the movie in which Gillian and boyfriend are beat up by some people and then she goes "Rambo" and kills the men that torture her?

Yes that is the one! Full of GA topless nudity (which I first thought was a body double as her head was missing from the shot!) and er, sex scenes. She played a good part actually, but Betweenthelines is right, the story started off well (given the difficult material) but ended dissapoitingly. It lost steam half way through what could have been a great film, if only they had thought more about the conclusion and how to get there. I think it was trying to be the modern version in some ways of that one with Dustin Hoffman film Straw Dogs. Just remind me never to turn my back on Gillian!
