I wonder where that episode was filmed?

BTW, I've pinned this topic at the top of this forum to keep it seperate and easy to find from the general episode stills.

Less than an hour outside Vancouver BC starts some of that beautiful country of rain forests, waterfalls and glacier streams right off the 'Sea to Sky' highway... awesome beauty. Have been there 3 times already in the last 5 years and can't wait to go again [ when I retire] and spend a few months in that area . :tasty::ouroborous:

Sounds fantastic. Have you ever found the same lake as in the shot above?

Not sure if its a lake or a very wide river of which there are several. More than likely they went down a logging road to be away from curious onlookers so it could be anywhere in southern BC. I will have to watch the ep again to see if I can recognise any particular landmarks... Garibaldi Provencial Park is less than two hour drive and filled with lakes and streams and forests... Hell they may not even remember where they shot it... :ouroborous:

Regarding remembering where it was shot: I definitely would have appreciated commentary on "Luminary" by Tom Wright more than "The Hand of Saint Sebastian", since I consider "Luminary" to be one of the most picturesque, well-shot TV episodes I've ever seen.

Not bad at all and a great climate.... if your older or out of shape like me ya just hike slower.. but believe me .. its sooooo worth it.. I can't wait to spend weeks up there.. to do some shedding myself.... Canada's Provincial parks are beautiful and something for every taste. I have been there three times in September but want to see it in May/june when the rivers and water falls are full of spring run off... :tasty::ouroborous:
