what a monster they have become .   wonder how this will affect future ' Avatar  ' movies .  2 & 3 are being filmed now and 4 & 5 in a few years.  course if they wait too long the main actors could be deceased .

Personally, I think the general viewing public is now permanently screwed.  Maybe Disney will come out with an animated MLM.   Wouldn't that be a hoot?

Doubt if they're worried about the main actors, after all, they're now electronic and can be CGI'd.

CGI works only a point ;  its why they gave up the idea of a CG Leia for the last star wars  . it didn't go over good with the Fast and Furious and Paul Walker .

You're right Walkabout, CGI can only go so far.  I think a lot of it too is it doesn't go over with us because we know it's not the real person.  If we didn't know, it might work.
