Guest ZeusFaber Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 I was just thinking how effective this track was in "The Sound of Snow", in the memorable scene where Frank returns to Ezekiel Drive to find his yellow house painted white, but he sees only the yellow as the image of Catherine welcomes him home. A wonderful scene, and although I knew nothing of James Carr beforehand, I have since found the song very enjoyable. Just thought the folder needed some new topics to be honest. What does everyone else think?
Guest medication77 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Seems I'm a year late but I was watching this episode for the first time today and when the song started it really grabbed me and seemed to slide into the mood of that part of the episode really easily without being it overly sentimental.
Elders (Admins) The Old Man Posted July 24, 2006 Elders (Admins) Posted July 24, 2006 Yes this was such a great song to have in this episode. One of those great additions to the show such including a "Horse with no name" and the Patti Smith songs. Great stuff!
Raven Wolf Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Music? There was music in that scene? I was too busy crying my eyes out at that scene to notice the music.
