ethsnafu Posted October 17, 2010 Share Posted October 17, 2010 In my addled canon (i.e. the bits I make up myself) he was gifted in the same way Lara and Frank were. I have always assumed that he was initiated and simply went crazy in much the same way Lara did. That said he does seem preoccupied with the arrival of the Vanset-West comet so it could be that he was an astronomer before it all went wrong. Who knows.
