Yeah, I really think there was a tension between Frank and Lara. Just look at the vibrating bed scene in Monster. hehehe. That, and they truely understood what each one was going through with their gifts; something Catherine never did.

But getting back to the original topic, I was really surprised to see Catherine straighten her hair. I know this might sound silly, but it seemed to have some heavy significance. For me, it showed her selfishness, and her lack of understanding about Frank's gift and the role that he was to play in the fight against Evil. I can't really give a good reason for it, it's more of a gut feeling about here character and what she really concerned about.
