Close Encounters

I was watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind last night and much to my surprise, near the end when everyone is standing around the mothership, they move to a group of people and there is Lance standing in the crowd. They center on him for a few seconds and move off. I checked the credits to make sure and sure enough he is listed. Sorry if this is old news but I tried to search for it before I posted and there was just too much to wade through. If you didn't know about this check it out

Yeah, I remember the first time I spotted him on there and went "OMG! It's Lance Henrikson! On yet ANOTHER movie that obviously inspired Chris Carter!"

Well I missed that one but I suppose it was 10-15 years ago when I last saw it. (Pre-MillenniuM/Lance era for me)

Yeah, I heard he was in there, but I haven't actually ever seen that movie all the way through from beginning to end. I've seen *most* of it far more times than I can count, just not all of it.

Close Encounters is one of my all time favorite films, and its great that Lance is a part of it. Unfortunately, his role was cut down to almost nothing. Hes there in a number of scenes, but you don't get to really see him up close until the memorable finale.
