As I've stated before in another thread, there are 3 mind-sets to the date 12-21-12. First of all the Mayans state their calendar is by time periods, not exact dates.

The first group feels there will be total destruction of our planet.

The second group doesn't think anything will happen.

The third group believes there will be a new spiritual awakening for mankind.
