I wonder are there any indications about what the agenda of the Odessa was afterwards ... meaning after they'd gotten the people to safe haven - project to conclusion, what then (expect keeping them there)? In all spooky stories it's the restoration of the 'reich' but whether they have actually done anything is an interesting question.

I've never read it (one of many on my to-read list, heh) but just on the bits and pieces from other sources, they never amounted to much beyond saving their own collective ass. People have this idea of the whole Nazi order being a clinically precise monolith. They sure didn't bat 1.000 (especially their clown leader)
