Alien Quadrilogy

For those who haven't heard...there is a new DVD

release of the Alien films with a massive amount of

background info and extra features.  It's all over

the net...just do a search and you'll get a boat

load of info.

The cool thing is Lance has contributed commentary

on his appearances in Aliens and Alien3.

He is also featured in some of the extra features

stuff.

This is considered the most comprehensive DVD release

ever done!  There's new footage, director's cuts, theatrical

releases of the films, etc.  There's even old stuff from the

foreign laser disc releases.

I want this set (if I can get the money together for it), but I think the FIREFLY DVD set is my first thing to buy for myself during December.

Well, I received the Alien Quadrilogy Set and all

I can say is.....WOW !!!

This is a must have collection. Lance's contributions

are great and the massive amount of back story

concerning the films is excellent.

I always thought Alien3 was the lamest piece of

dung in the Alien series.  Well, my opinion has

changed after viewing the restored work print of

the film.  It's really (dare I say it?) GOOD!!

Save, beg, borrow or steal a copy of this special

edition.

Individual Alien films will be available from this

special release, but I don't think you'll get all

the extra goodies.

Per your endorsement I have viewing the Firefly series. Great show.

And definitely gets better with each episode. Is this show still be produced or is another one thrown on the heap of cuts?

Got the Quadrilogy as a Christmas present. It's quality, especially Aliens' and Alien 3's extended editons. Resurrection is still the weakest film to me.
